I recently joined FOX 5 DC to discuss a growing shift in patient behavior. More people, especially younger patients, are seeking out care that looks at the body as an integrated system rather than isolated symptoms.

In the interview, I spoke about why this model resonates. Many conditions seen in practice, particularly chronic pain and pelvic floor dysfunction, are not single-issue problems. They involve overlapping musculoskeletal, neurological, and systemic factors. A systems-based approach allows for more precise targeting rather than symptom management alone.
This is not about choosing one model over another. It is about applying the right framework to understand what is actually driving the condition and treating accordingly.
